QR Code Mobile Ordering — Customers Can Now Order from Their Own Smartphone

Place QR codes at each table and let customers scan with their smartphone to browse your menu and order directly. No app download required — works instantly in any mobile browser.

Order from Your Own Phone — No App Needed

We're excited to introduce QR Code Mobile Ordering to the Table Order System. Customers simply scan a QR code placed at their table with their smartphone camera, and a mobile-optimized ordering page opens instantly in their browser. They can browse your full menu, customize items, add special instructions, and place orders — all without downloading an app or waiting for a server.

How It Works

Setting up QR Code ordering is simple. From the Table Order dashboard, go to the QR Codes tab, select your store, and generate QR codes for all your tables with one click. You can download individual QR codes as PNG images or export all of them as a printable PDF with table numbers. Place the printed QR codes on each table, and customers can start ordering immediately. Each QR code is linked to a specific table number, so orders are automatically associated with the correct table.

Tablet or QR Code — Choose What Fits Your Restaurant

The Table Order System now offers two ways to enable tableside ordering. You can place dedicated tablets at each table for a premium experience, or use QR codes for a cost-effective, contactless solution. You can even combine both — offer tablets at some tables and QR codes at others. QR code ordering is perfect for restaurants that want to minimize hardware costs, reduce contact points, or accommodate customers who prefer using their own device. Orders from both methods go directly to the Kitchen Display System in real time.
