Self-order kioskItsepalvelukioski

The kiosk asks every single time.

Your best waiter suggests a topping when there is time. The kiosk suggests one at 12:15 on a Saturday too. Measured on real orders, that one habit is where the money is.

Real order data from one client venue running both channels side by side, same menu, same prices. Every figure is per bowl, so bigger kiosk groups cannot inflate it. Even solo one-bowl orders show 7.6× the topping revenue. Full method notes on request.

Why it outsells the till: it never skips the question.

SAME PRICES

Guests do not pick pricier items. The average paid topping costs about the same at both channels (€3.97 vs €3.56). The difference is how often anyone gets asked.

EVERY ORDER

Peak hour is when the till goes quiet. With a queue building, staff stop suggesting extras. The kiosk shows the topping screen to every guest, including at 12:15 on a Saturday.

NO PRESSURE

Browsing without a queue behind you. Guests take their time, read the pictures, and add the extra egg they would have been too rushed to order out loud.

From box to first order in one afternoon

01We bring it and bolt it downIn the Helsinki region our own crew delivers, mounts and cables the kiosk. Elsewhere it ships pre-configured; you plug in power and network.
02Your menu is already on itThe kiosk reads the same menu as your SciPOS. Change a price or 86 a dish once, and the kiosk follows within seconds. No second menu to maintain.
